Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with many in with chances on there best form but the principals look to be Thoutmosis, Russian Sky and Totally Scottish and the vote is given to Thoutmosis. The selection won well last time out when beating Political Sox and although he has a penalty for that win his conditional takes off a handy 10 pounds and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Russian Sky rates the main danger on his latest second behind Nick The Silver but he is very one paced and again he looks vulnerable off this mark. Totally Scottish is another that could go well but although he travels well in his races he often finds less than expected and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Harrovian returns to hurdles on a handy mark and should be noted in the market but this may be a stepping stone before sent back chasing. Of the remainder Tynedale and Culcabock are others that look to be on handy marks and could go well at a price but there best form of late has been over a longer trip and for the winner we return to Thoutmosis.
