In depth

Verdict

American President gets the vote here with Kilmackilloge and Terlan rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair sort over hurdles and although falling last time out has been given plenty of time to recover and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Terlan rates the main danger on his best form but the suspicion is he may just need the run after 563 days. Kilmackilloge is another that could go well on his best form and his yard are in form but he still remains a maiden so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Kalic d'Alm was a fair fourth behind Bishops Finger last time but does not look sure to be suited by the drop in trip and with this in mind for the winner we return to American President.
