Art Point would have claims if fit enough for his return but an absence of 805 days has to be of some concern and a safer bet may be Fort Ord, who is preferred to Watch The Dove. The last mentioned would have claims on teh form shown when successful two starts ago but has disappointed either side of that and he may not be on to rely upon. Ardglass has been off the track since the spring and is entitled to need the run, while Magnetic Pole looks plenty high enough in the weights for what he has achieved. Mid Sussex Spirit is less exposed than most of these and has to be considered but preference is for Fort Ord. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding showed his first worthwhile form since coming over from Ireland when second at Hereford last month, his very capable jockey is able to claim a valuable 8lbs and he is taken to go one better today.
