Although it was disappointing to see him being beaten last time Le Biassais still looks too good for his rivals here and is fancied to resume winning ways at the main expense of Vic The Piler and Topanberry. The last mentioned showed promise on her hurdling debut but ran below expectations at Newcastle and is probably best watched now. Aberdare has shown signs of ability and, along with Hawick, is another worthy of a mention although a bigger threat is likely to come from Vic The Piler. The Nicky Richards-trained gelding looked useful when making a winning hurdling debut at Newcastle in January but was unable to reproduce the form at Bangor subsequently. The selection has been nothing if not consistent and Le Biassais should be able to get back on track.
