Saga De Tercey doesn't appear overburdened on his handicap debut over hurdles but was all out to beat modest opposition at Sedgefield last time. Crowning Jewel is consistent but has more to than when winning at Newcastle at the end of March while Little Hercules was the first one beaten at Ayr last month and C&D winner Scotswell fell heavily at Ayr 12 days ago, though was making headway at the time. Mcmurrough hasn't won for a couple of years but is well handicapped as a result, though we still prefer STOPPED OUT. The top weight was well behind Little Hercules back over hurdles at Haydock in March and most of his recent runs have been over fences. But he has ground conditions in his favour today and has a terrific strike rate at this track - Kate Walton's grey could be a bit of value now.
