    In depth

    Verdict

Scots Dragoon gets the confident vote in the finale with Dunlea Dancer and Needle Prick rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Yellow Flag and although having a penalty for that win he looks sure to be suited by going left handed and off what remains a fair mark he is taken to win again. Dunlea Dancer rates the main danger on his latest third behind Filenious. That form looks solid and he will not be far away. Needle Prick is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Tayman but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks and is becomming expensive to follow. Premier Hope would be a danger to all if fit after a 197-day break so is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Noble Sham and Time Bandit have shown promise in the past but both have long breaks to overcome and with this in mind for the winner we return to Scots Dragoon.
