In depth
Verdict
PERFECT SUMMER, who won over 1m4f on the Flat last summer, found the race-fit Lanceur too strong over 2m here on her hurdling debut but she can go one better today and give Lady Cecil her first winner under NH Rules. Two Swallows has finished second at Wetherby and Doncaster this season and should make the frame again while Maypole Lass is a danger. She's been taking on better company and probably needed her run in a Listed contest at Doncaster last month. Susie Sheep was sent off favourite for her hurdling debut at Chepstow and might improve over this longer trip while Altesse De Guye has shown enough to suggest she can get involved in a competitive finale.
