Verdict
Out The Glen has already won three times over fences whereas all of his rivals are tackling the larger obstacles for this first time. Foxey only won a seller over hurdles at Newton Abbot at the start of the month but Jacks Touch ran his best race over timber here back in January. Kankin has only finished out of the frame once in six career starts but a switch to chasing should suit CALVIC, who was a decent pointer and ran only three times over hurdles, finishing second on good to soft at Market Rasen in August. The six-year-olds Star Flyer and Heritier De Sivola can’t be ignored in a tricky opener.
