In depth

Verdict

CALL ME A STAR did her best to live up to her name when winning on her debut at Wetherby in November doing handstands. She should be up to defying a penalty here on that showing. Cherry Lady finished six lengths behind but will do well to reverse running despite re-opposing on much better terms, while the remaining pair with experience never figured on their respective debuts. Newcomer Emily's Princess is a half-sister to bumper winners including the smart Dare Me and makes more appeal than fellow debutant La Calinda.
