A modest affair in which Commercial Express, Over The Storm and King Of Gothland are the three for the shortlist and we side with King of Gothland. Kim Bailey's charge was running a fair race before making a bad mistake at Wetherby on his most recent outing but he handles the trip and going well enough and it could be worth giving him another chance at this level. Over The Storm has shown consistency over the last couple of months but this has not gone unnoticed by the assessor. He may need to come down a few more pounds before we see him in the winners' enclosure. Commercial Express could be the blot on the handicap on his debut in this sphere. The handicapper has had very little in the way of opportunity to look at him and the David Johnson owned gelding is watched in the market. Young Dude has been disappointing this year and needs to improve. Be Telling would not want conditions any more testing than at present. Clearly In Motion steps up in grade having obliged in selling company. King of Gothland looks to have conditions in his favour and recieves the nomination.
