Verdict

Templer had some decent form in handicap company last summer and this is far less competitive. But he hasn't raced since October and ground conditions today look far from perfect for Philip Hobbs' fast-ground performer. The vote, therefore, goes to MOUNT BENGER who did well to get within four lengths of the exciting Cork All Star over today's C&D two weeks ago. Basic Fact fell behind the same horse between the flags at Higham last month but Noakarad De Verzee is worth a second look. He's already won twice over this C&D and was third at Barbury 11 days ago.
