In depth

Verdict

Honourable Arthur is chasing a hat-trick but has been put up 12lb since winning by nine lengths over C&D last month and may just find one or two of these too strong at the weights. Sea Saffron won over 3m2f at Wincanton three weeks ago but Backfromthecongo has been rested since winning at Leicester in November and may need this. Ovthenight was taking on better opposition when only seventh at Doncaster last month and could figure but this looks a good opportunity for KING JACK to get back on track. He runs off the same mark as when successful over a shorter trip here a year ago and was very much in need of his reappearance at Southwell last month. Richard Phillips' charge may have a bit more to offer this spring.
