Verdict

As is often the case in such contests, the market should prove helpful in signposting stable expectations. Faivoir, a winner of his only start between the flags in a Fairyhouse point-to-point in April, could be very useful but PRESENCE OF MIND is just preferred. This point-to-point winner ran a cracking race on bumper debut when runner-up at Fakenham last month despite seemingly running a little green and arrives with no fitness concerns. He's sure to come on a bundle for the run and is expected to go close. Newcomers of interest who both merit a market check are Kim Bailey's Cotteemcavennigoal and Dirty Diana from the Ian Williams operation.
