An intriguing handicap hurdle with plenty of runners holding claims. Among those worthy of a mention are Mary Reveley's Chaos Theory, who has slipped to an attractive mark following some below par efforts. However, he does not win very often and is probably best watched for the time being. Mixsterthetrixster had some decent form for Tim Easterby a couple of seasons ago and ran respectably for new connections after a lengthy lay off recently. The bounce factor would be a worry for backers of the topweight. The Ian Williams-trained Brooklyn's Gold comes into this in better form than most of these having chased home Dream With Me at Ascot earlier in the month and should go close off the same mark. Kevin Morgan's Marigliano lost little in defeat behind Out Of The Shadows on his comeback and is another to consider, along with Bitter Sweet who is only 2lbs higher than when beating Bound at Warwick. The one that gets the TEAMtalk selection though is Leatherback. Neville Callaghan's gelding is unexposed over hurdles, looks well treated on his flat form and may have too much speed for his rivals.
