Verdict

Chaparral Prince underwent wind surgery after disappointing on his hurdles bow at Fontwell and has gone close twice since at Kempton. But he doesn’t look the easiest of rides and may struggle to end the winning run of ANYTIME WILL DO, despite receiving 21lb. Dan Skelton’s charge justified short odds at Uttoxeter and Bangor back in October and connections have been waiting for the better ground – he has a couple of entries in Grade 1 races at Cheltenham. Hes No Trouble was prominent for a long way at Warwick in December and may appreciate the drop in distance while Fransham wasn’t disgraced over track and trip last month.
