After such an easy success last time we think CANNI THINKAAR looks well treated under a seven pounds penalty so we side with Jim Best's gelding ahead of Carrickmines and Command Marshall. 17 lengths was the margin that the selection destroyed the field by at Ludlow last time. It's fair to suggest an extra seven pounds wouldn't have stopped him going in that day so on this his third start of the season he should be going in again. Carrickmines fell when hampered in horrible conditions on his seasonal bow. He was looking like a challenged before his misfortune and he still looks weighted to mount a decent challenge. Command Marshall was denied under a 14lbs penalty on his latest start but still ran with some credit. He should go better under this burden and certainly should be on the list. Seven Stars also ran with credit on his seasonal reappearance and is considered for place claims but to win this we take Canni Thinkaar to make a mockery of his penalty.
