Verdict

It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up for Keith Reveley's Kings Grey on his debut but the son of King's Theatre will need to be useful to get the better of Landenstown Star and the selection, MISTER CHANCER. Alan King's gelding made a pleasing debut at Ascot in November when a fair fifth behind Dunraven Storm and any improvement on that effort will make him tough to beat. Neil King's Rumbling Thunder ran well on his debut at Fakenham in October but he disappointed here last time and looks best watched now. As well as Kings Grey, Keith Reveley is also represented by Seren Rouge, a son of Old Vic, who has to be considered but more solid claims are held by Landenstown Star. The Seamus Mullins-trained gelding found just Kaybeew too good on his Plumpton debut in November and he has to be respected but preference is for Mister Chancer.
