Verdict

Make Me A Fortune scrambled home on his debut under Rules at Market Rasen but this looks a lot more competitive. Wadswick Court won on soft ground at Hereford on racecourse debut before finishing fourth at Southwell but his form doesn't compare with that of PURPLE BAY. Well bred, he was successful at Doncaster in February and far from disgraced when fifth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham before finishing fourth in a Grade 2 at Aintree in April. He's likely to be a short price here but will be hard to beat. Fine Lily is possibly the most interesting of the newcomers but likely to need this.
