      Verdict

Shinobi defied greenness to make a successful debut at Exeter and though penalised looks certain to go well again. Steelcraft also looked in need of experience when attempting to make all over the track and trip last month where he wasn't headed until approaching the final furlong so he will take some catching with that under his belt. Nicky Henderson likes to introduce bumper horses here and HOOPER looks the part on breeding. A son of Rip Van Winkle out of a Group-placed mare, he should have more pace than most and can make a successful debut. Audacity is by Pivotal out of a Flat winner so he should have plenty of speed while Mattie Ross is related to several winners on the Flat and gets the fillies' allowance.
