In depth

Verdict

Tiegs, Croon and Desert Rat are three against the field in a trappy handicap hurdle and the tentative vote is given to Croon. The selection was a fair fifth behind Little Bob last time out that form looks solid in the context of this race and despite top weight he looks a value bet in an open affair. Tiegs rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Brook No Argument but she weakened quickly on that occasion and again looks opposable with this in mind. Desert Rat is another that could go well on his latest third behind Amazing King, he has one of the better jockeys onboard and will not be far away. The Local is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on for the lead he is opposed. Of the remainder Painted Sky is another with one of the better jockeys onboard and with the Richard Fahey yard in good form in could go well at a price but in a race where stakes should be kept to the minimum for the winner we return to Croon.
