In depth

Verdict

Disappointingly just the five runners line up for this but it is still a competitive event with no fewer than 3lbs between the quintet on official BHA ratings and what can only be a tentative vote goes to DOUBLE THE TROUBLE, who gets the verdict ahead of Gleann An Sagart and Swift Sailor. Gary Moore's gelding probably found the going too testing when pulled up at Exeter last time and should do better under today's underfoot conditions for his in-form stable. Henrietta Knight's Muhtenbar has been well held in his last two starts and looks best watched until finding some of his previous form. Flying Grey has struggled since winning at Newton Abbot in August and of more interest may be Gleann An Sagart, who has shown improved form in two starts for Michael Scudamore. The vote though goes to Andrew Turnell's Double The Trouble, who has shown promise in both starts over fences and he may be worth chancing in this contest.
