It could pay to stick with RODNEYTHETROTTER in this as he finished a long way in front of Jackblack when runner-up on his racecourse debut at Worcester last month. Pat Phelan's charge looks a safer bet than guessing at the ability of the newcomers. Of those, Richard Johnson gets the leg-up on Jonjo O'Neill's Quarenta while William Hunter is out of a hurdles winner.
