In depth

Verdict

HIGHTOWN would have found 1m6f sharp enough on pedigree and Don Cantillon's runner can make that experience count in this company. Bathcounty was second on debut at Exeter albeit at a respectful distance. That said, he did have Watledge behind and that was in spite of Tom George's charge generating plenty of market interest beforehand. Trade On is related to staying flat performers and has to be respected from the Alan King stable. Charlie Egerton is not adverse to having his horses primed for this sort of race so do not discount Polurrian. Peintre Ster has a very decent flat pedigree though was disposed of at the Newmarket sales without making an appearance in that sphere.
