    Verdict

DONA has been kept over hurdles off this mark so we take the hint and stick with Alan King's charge accordingly. Manshoor is far from foot perfect but he fully justified market confidence to score at Towcester. Barrel Of Fun has won two relatively easy races for Jim Best though has come up short against better opposition in the past. Decision had a busy summer and has been given a couple of months off prior to this engagement. Porters War has taken quite a drop down the ratings since leaving Alan King and he has to be monitored closely in the market to see if connections are confident that he can return to anywhere near his best.
