In depth

Verdict

This should be plain sailing for Lorenzino who should outjump Paco Venture, with Circus Maximus a lost cause. Having made a pleasing debut over fences at Bangor, it was no surprise when he opened his account over the course and distance 12 days ago, and bar a fall he should double up under Tony McCoy. Paco Venture, like the selection, has won four times over hurdles but came a cropper on his chase debut at Fakenham, falling at the last when beaten. He had looked the likely winner two out though and has the ability to win in time. Not today though, as Lorenzino looks much more the part and can prove so here.
