Some potentially interesting recruits line up in this mares' only bumper including newcomers from the stables of Nicky Henderson, Henry Daly and Noel Chance but Accordello made a promising debut and is preferred to Classic Quart. The selection, a daughter of Accordion out of the top class mare Marello, probably found the 1m5f trip on the short side when chasing home Senorita Rumbalita in a juveniles race at Newbury and should improve for the longer trip today. Mary Reveley used to have a wonderful record with her runners here and, judged by the last meeting at Huntingdon, it would seem that son Keith is also going to be worth following at the venue. Michael Scudamore's Classic Quart showed her best form so far from three starts when a close second to Sukey at Folkestone last month and has to be respected although a bigger threat may come from one of the many newcomers. Jonathan Geake's Glacial Storm mare Glacial Vale and Henry Daly's Saddlers Express, who is by Saddlers' Hall, both appeal on pedigree but of more interest is Nicky Henderson's Tessanoora. A four-year-old daughter of Topanoora, she is bred for this game and hails from a yard that has been back among the winners of late. The same cannot be said of Noel Chance's stable so his runner Supreme Ocean may be best watched and of more interest may be Kim Bailey's Martovic, who should improve for his recent debut at Sedgefield. Accordello makes plenty of appeal though and it will take a good one to beat her.
