County Classic and Lady Racquet both have penalties to carry for their wins and preference in receipt of weight from the top two is for Harringay, who is taken to give Henrietta Knight another winner. The selection, a winner of her only start in bumper-company, made a pleasing start to her hurdling career when a close third behind a couple of useful types at Warwick last month. Granted normal improvement, she should be too good for her rivals here. Oliver Sherwood's Kohinor has shown a decent level of form in bumpers and has to be respected but, along with Blueberry Ice, the lack of a recent run is of concern. Nite Fox, from the in-form Heather Dalton stable, ran well on her hurdling debut at Towcester last month and is another to consider along with Peter Niven's consistent Simply Mystic. County Classic was good value for her win at Sedgefield last time but, along with Lady Raquet, may struggle under her penalty and preference is for Harringay, who has already shown a decent level of form over hurdles and hails from a stable in good heart at present.
