Rhosneigr is an interesting newcomer in this as he won three times on the Flat up to 1m2f when trained by Charlie Hills. West Cork has more of a jumping pedigree, however, though it remains to be seen how the former pointer copes with a drop to 2m. Known was a shade unlucky when fourth here last month and it will be a surprise if he doesn’t pick up a race or two this winter given connections but we’ll give a tentative vote to MANDALAYAN as he just looked in need of the experience when third at Taunton, ahead of Twin Star, though was hard to win with on the Flat. Perfect City was surprisingly easy to back at Market Rasen and needs more.
