Bajan Excell scored on heavy ground on the Flat and looked well suited by those conditions on his hurdling debut at Gowran. He'll improve for the experience but will need to if he's to see off PASLEY. Joseph O'Brien's charge is also suited by testing ground as he showed when scoring over 1m6f at Gowran in October then made a very satisfactory debut over timber at Punchestown where things didn't quite go right. Millford Sound ran well for a long way in Bajan Excell's race at Gowran but Politicise was beaten a long way when sent to Bangor. Gealach has run in a couple of tough maidens without showing much.
