In depth

Verdict

Amalric was third at Bangor last month and Cashwell can improve on his run at Stratford in March. Go Set Go was placed at Fontwell and Kempton last season while Well Mett won for Shark Hanlon at Downpatrick in August, though has a penalty to carry on his first run for Lucy Wadham. WILD CARD is a half-brother to the stable's top-class stayer Mighty Man and bumper winner Bourbon Manhattan and is taken to make a winning start to his career with Eddie The Eagle and Millers Glen other newcomers to note for future reference.
