    Verdict

Though her stable is going through a bit of a quiet spell, ALASI was easily the best of these over hurdles. She beat subsequent winner Whoops A Daisy in a Listed contest at Wetherby in October and should take this if handling the larger obstacles. Be My Light may be the one to take advantage should Paul Webber's mare be found wanting as she's already run well over timber at Chepstow and Uttoxeter this autumn. Kaituna was pulled up when her rider lost his irons on her chasing bow at Towcester but did beat Kings Queen over hurdles at Ludlow in March and is 7lb better off today.
