Celtic Season Second to Boundtohonour here over a half-mile shorter last time on heavy ground. In a modest race, he has to hold a good chance.
Hawaiian Youth (IRE) Raised eight pounds for his Folkestone win on January 12 (2m 5f, Heavy/Soft in places), he then finished a good second to New Era at Wincanton. Errigal, after a mistake, was tailed off and then pulled up in that race.
Errigal (FR) Disregarding his rider's allowance, Errigal is six pounds better off with Hawaiian Youth for their Wincanton run. He will probably appreciate stepping back to 2 miles 4 1/2 furlongs and the ground will present no problems.
Follow The Trend (IRE) Unseated his rider early on at Plumpton last time but before that beat Hawaiian Youth by one-and-a-quarter lengths at Folkestone (2m 5f, Soft). He is eight pounds worse off with that one today having been raised eight pounds for that effort. That was his first run of the year so he's entitled to improve but he will need to.
Iron N Gold Met a well handicapped horse in Dulas Court at Ludlow on Jan 5. Raised 4 pounds for that, he is still entitled to improve and looks to hold a very good chance here.
Absolutely Hopeful Stays 3 miles well and acts on good to soft and heavy. Four pounds lower than when second at Towcester last season. Hasn't really caught the eye this time around but is now tried in first-time blinkers.
Saxon Victory (USA) A maiden racing from five pounds out of the handicap. Can't be fancied here.
Shankly Races from seven pounds out of the handicap here. No form to date.
