Verdict
Well Mett's run in the first division will be a pointer to the chances of On Alert, who beat him at Uttoxeter last time. Stamina is clearly the four-year-old's forte but has an extra 2f to cover here. IRIS'S FLYER hasn't shown much this year but has plummeted down the weights as a result and is now back on the same mark as when successful in this 12 months ago. He could take all the beating again if back on song. Moon Melody failed to complete the course over fences at Hexham on Friday and Factotum still looks to be in the handicapper's grip while Douglas has gone off the boil lately.
