In depth

Verdict

Khazium was beaten more than three lengths by JUNO THE MUFFINMAN at Plumpton but is 7lb better off here, However, Brendan Powell's charge had had the benefit of a previous run over hurdles that day and we expect the top weight to confirm the form and double his tally here. Michael Bell doesn't have many runners over jumps so Operation Tracer warrants respect as he went close a couple of times on the Flat over the summer. Bountiful Catch may prove best of the other newcomers and is preferred unless Feb Thirtyfirst makes a swift reappearance under a penalty after getting off the mark at Fontwell on Friday.
