Verdict

Life can be difficult for previous winners carrying a penalty in bumpers as Commander Rocks, successful over 1m6f here in November, proved last month at Kempton. But Quid Pro Quo made up a lot of ground to make a winning start at Hereford, despite running green, and could go on to better things. Season In The Sun has hinted at ability and so has Hanafy while Pitch It Up is a half-brother to a hurdles winner with Flat speed in his pedigree. COME DANCING was noted making good late headway at Kempton having met interference at a crucial stage and could go close if he’s learned from that.
