Verdict

Only a couple of these make any appeal. A former Ballydoyle inmate, JOHN CONSTABLE won a maiden hurdle at Ludlow on his hurdling bow and first start for Evan Williams and normal progress could see him get the better of Nicolas Chauvin on today's terms, though the latter came up against subsequent Grade 2 winner Glingerburn when third at Doncaster under a penalty last time and should go well again. The remainder have shown little so far with Bekkensfirth perhaps proving best of them after a modest debut effort at Newbury.
