A wide open novice hurdle and a narrow vote is given to Buddhi, Something Wells and Major Catch could provide most danger. Mark Pitman's charge has always been quite well regarded but has only shown modest ability so far. His most recent effort came in December when seventh behind Blue Teen, where he was going well for a long way. He looks type to improve with racing and in what is a pretty weak affair he could go close at a decent price. Something Wells made a pleasing British debut when third behind What A Vintage at Plumpton. He should have learnt from that experience and looks a major threat to all. Major Catch has been a model of consistency and has to be on the premises again this afternoon. Great Memories has shown little in two runs but is from a top yard and should be noted for any market move, however on this occasion we will side with Buddhi.
