Verdict
Carntop won twice at Worcester in the summer before failing to cope with a step up in trip and handicap company last month at Uttoxeter. Page Fuller’s claim helps with the double penalty but this is no easy task. Totterdown won a maiden at Hereford in April but was beaten when falling next time at Towcester. This track lends itself to ex-Flat types and ANDOK has been in better form on the level recently, winning at Redcar and Doncaster. With Brian Hughes a significant jockey booking, Richard Fahey’s gelding can make a winning start over timber. Bumper winner Normal Norman and Oceanus of the the others.
