A competitive finale to solve and from a shortlist of top-weight North Walk, Mucho Loco, Cordier and BOLTON HALL, the latter gets the vote. An exposed 60 rated performer on the level, the six year old has been placed three times from three outings over obstacles. Literal reading of his form suggests he could be well handicapped off 92 and while he has shown himself to be fairly one paced in the closing stages of his races, he warrants respect in this wide open handicap. North Walk landed a gamble on his debut for the Tim Vaughan yard last time. The yard continue in a rich vein of form and market support once again would make him of some interest. Mucho Loco, a course winner who finished fourth last time when ridden with some restraint and stepped up in grade is another that comes into the equation now that he has proved himself outside of plating grade. Cordier returned from a long break to run perfectly reasonably last time. Having challenged briefly, he dropped away possibly owing to lack of fitness. Drizzi and Star Tenor are others to consider but Bolton Hall is given the nod.
