In depth

Verdict

Stara is impossible to oppose here with Dundock and The Saltire Tiger rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third in a better race last time behind Kitty Wong; the step up in trip looks sure to suit and he need only run up to that mark to score. Dundock rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Or de Grugy but he gave the impression he would be suited by an even longer trip on that occasion and is taken on with this in mind. The Saltire Tiger is another that could go well as he is dropping in grade but consistency is not his strong point and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. Of the remainder, Beaufoy is from a shrewd yard and should be watched in the market but Stara sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
