Clovis Island, narrowly beaten at Loughbrickland in October, has a chaser's pedigree so will need a stamina test. Fox's Fancy hasn't looked like winning in two starts while Court Case is likely to do better when tackling obstacles. Swedish Icon is related to several winners and is out of a winning bumper so his pedigree suggests he is just the type for this unlike that of CHARLIE'S NUMBERS. It's difficult to know what a son of Frankel out of a one-mile Listed winning daughter of Sea The Stars, who cost 130,000gns, is doing here but the champion jockey has been booked and he's the most interesting runner on today's card.
