ACCORDINGTOTHEBOSS caught the eye on his hurdling bow and is nominated here ahead of Lackamon, Patriot and Gulf President. The last-named would go close if repeating his narrow second to Blue Eyed Eloise at Plumpton a fortnight ago but there are some potential improvers in here making it a better race. One such improver could be the selection who got into fourth place at Perth last month entirely through his own ability. The step up in trip should suit and with the yard in good form a bold bid is expected. Lackamon is a course winner and this former Irish point-to-pointer is not to be ignored on this hurdling bow for a yard that normally have their jumpers well schooled. Patriot is rated 105 and he has been in consistent form over timber this year in a busy period, Sambelucky will be handicapped after this run, whilst Symphonica rates as more of a danger. Gordon Elliott's mare is no superstar but the yard has done really well with raids to these shores and this Definite Article mare is proven on good ground. With AP McCoy booked for the ride a big run is anticipated.
