Verdict

This looks a decent maiden for the track but the four-year-old MELEKHOV may be capable of conceding weight to his rivals. He has a penalty and only won by a short-head at Fakenham but ran green in the closing stages and there is considerable scope for improvement. Bluefortytwo ran well at Ayr in January and went clear with the winner. He is also capable of better while Lough Legend and Blaydon were placed at Wetherby and Kelso respectively. Urca De Lima started out in a Listed race at Sandown and should find this easier while Sullivan is a half-brother to two winners and by top NH sire Oscar so is worth a market check.
