Verdict

Zoffany ran against the highly impressive Thisthatantother at Bangor last time out and with nothing of that caliber here, we will take him to account for these rivals today. Martin Todhunter's horses invariably improve for the switch to chasing and this six-year-old was certainly no mug over hurdles. With race fitness assured, he is the percentage call. Giocomo lost his way when with Jonjo O'Neill. A useful hurdler, he would probably be better with much more cut in the ground. Khan Kicker looks the more likely danger. Nicky Richards has farmed plenty of wins around Hexham and while this horse is yet to run here, he performed adequately enough when finishing second to subsequent winner, Family Venture over further. Betabatim looks outclassed even in this small field. With many questions to answer, Zoffany stands up to the formbook examination.
