A modest looking race in which course and distance winner Just Sal can regain the winning thread at the expense of Scoop Thirty Nine and Cullinan. Despite a constant battle against the handicapper this term, she alone in this field looks to have a modicum of consistency in her form lines. A repeat of a recent second in a much better race at Kelso last time out would suffice on this occasion. Scoop Thirty Nine is often well backed and this presumably suggests that she shows much more on the gallops than at home. The jockey booking suggests that connections mean business today. Cullinan produced a good run for John O'Shea on debut for him at Wincanton. She had been none too consistent beforehand and backers are taking it on trust that this was not simply a flash in the pan. Sister Anna looks to need soft ground to be at their best whereas Huncheon Siss ran too badly to be true on her British debut. Sunridge Fairy was a prolific winner a few years ago and should be fit from a spin on the flat.It is perhaps more worrying that she is onto her third trainer. Just Sal is given the verdict in the absence of market information.
