BOLLIN RUTH won this race four years ago and tends to produce her best efforts around here. Donald Whillans' mare has to concede weight all round but Callum Whillans takes 8lb off her back and she may well be capable of turning back the clock only giving a pound to Sedgefield third Lady Bluesky. Wheyaye won at Wetherby in October but probably needs further and better ground but Gwyre is well treated on last year's form, though recent efforts have lacked sparkle. Devils Delight is more consistent but has only managed one win from 29 attempts.
