Verdict

Gamain scrambled home over 3m2f at Newton Abbot recently. He has another 6lb to carry here and has never won off a mark this high, though is still one of the more likely winners. Total Assets was in great form in the spring but reappears on a career-high mark, though collateral form suggests he should finish ahead of infrequent winner Landecker. Beyondtemptation loves it here and takes no prisoners, though this looks too far. GRAND ENTERPRISE has crept up the weights and had a break but he may well have won at Cartmel in May had he not fallen at the last and should enjoy the stiff track and likely fast pace.
