A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the main protagonists look to be Topaz Lady, Boris the Blade and Political Sox and the tentative nomination is given to Topaz Lady. The selection was a fair fourth behind Dalawan last time out, that form looks solid in the context of this race and under conditions that suit she looks the one to be on. Boris the Blade rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Em's Royalty. However he has a penalty for that win and this looks tougher so he is taken on with this in mind. Political Sox is another that could go well on his best form he is another that will relish conditions but consistency is not his strong point. Nifty Roy has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he often finds less than expected off the bridle. Of the remainder Northern Vic looks vulnerable under top weight and for the winner we return to Topaz Lady.
