In depth

Verdict

Dulce Panem makes a quick reappearance after falling at Wetherby though he was beaten at the time. Echo Express reappeared after a long break with a decent effort over the track and ttrip last month and has to be considered but Black Kettle has changed stables since gaining his first victory on his 17th start at Newcastle in April. Kavanaghs Corner hasn't raced over a trip this short since 2015 but will love the conditions and made a very encouraging return to action at Uttoxeter. He looks the main threat to INSTINGTIVE (NAP) though there's no denying the chance of Lisa Harrison's charge. A winner between the flags, he's been narrowly beaten in his last two starts over hurdles and can make his debut over fences on a much lower mark.
