Quite a few with respectable chances but AMERICAN LIFE arrives on the back of a laudable effort on the Flat at Pontefract last time over a marathon trip and will have no stamina issues now. He hasn't won for over two years but his consistency frequently sees him in the shake-up and there's every reason to anticipate another solid performance. He's been dropped a couple of pounds too for his latest Towcester fourth which will aid his cause. Rising Marienbard remains a potential improver and seems sure to prove competitive, whilst Lady London should be a player if maintaining recent levels of consistency. Broadway Belle disappointed latest but is otherwise of interest off a fair mark and Irish raider, Canadian Steel, is one to note in the market as he remains very lightly-raced for one of his age.
